Develop accepted method to estimate pile driving and ground improvement effects on pore pressure build-up and stability

Work tasks WP 2:

Systematisation of data from building sites with respect to building method
Development of procedures for the selection of optimum foundation solution, including for example a flow diagram based on expertise for available construction methods [wall system (e.g. sheet pile wall, diaphragm or pile walls), support system (e.g. drilled tie-back anchors or internal struts) and sealing system (e.g. freezing, grouting or water infiltration)], etc.
Development of consequence and cost-benefit analysis for the different solutions available.
Development of method for assessing stability under pore pressure build-up during pile driving and ground
improvement.
