WP5: Mitigation and remediation measures for quick clay landslides
This work package will analyse the environmental impact of quick clay landslides to allow for environmentally informed decisions regarding the mitigation and remediation of landslides in the future.
The work package will take place mainly in 2026. The aim is to establish clear metrics and recommendations to support impact assessments of mitigation and remediation work in quick clay terrain. It will provide a tool for decision makers to assess the optimal cost-benefit for society and the environment when considering options for mitigation and remediation measures.
